LAS VEGAS - Welcome to Wynn's world.
That's Steve Wynn, for the few people who haven't heard of his Wynn Las Vegas resort on the famed Vegas Strip. The resort opened in April 2005 and offers a world filled with opulence and indulgence.
How opulent? How indulgent? Well, it's simple. It's your one-stop vacation getaway. From the top - a 60th-floor penthouse - to bottom, Wynn has created a masterpiece.
More than 2,000 room, suites, apartments and villas give guests a wide variety of options. One suggestion is the Tower Suites. With 640 square feet of living space, there's room to stretch out in a suite and enjoy the surroundings.
Check out the flat screen, high-definition TVs if you get the time - and you may not, with all we have lined up during your stay. Many of the rooms feature one of the best views in Vegas, a glance out at Wynn Golf Club. Relaxing views can give way to trepidation if you look out over the golf course in preparation for a round.
The resort's bedding is made specifically for the Wynn. Like the bed, linens or pillows? Head downstairs to the home store, and you can buy replicas to be shipped to your home.
Wynn Las Vegas includes no fewer than nine fine-dining establishments, with some of the world's best chefs who will take guests on a culinary journey around the world. If you’ve got a craving, chances are it can be fulfilled within the resort. From Japanese creations at Okada to Italian cuisine at Bartolotta Ristorante De Mare and Chinese fare at Wing Lei, mixing Cantonese, Shanghai and Szechwan cooking styles, the choices are as varied as your appetite.
One of the best spots sits nearby the Wynn Theatre: Botero. This steakhouse features a wide variety of options, from filets to New York strips and ribeyes. A variety of cooking options include pepper steak, chimichurri and traditional. Add the seafood options at Botero, such as European Loup De Mer, Olive Oil Poached Halibut, Dayboat Scallops and Roasted Lobster - among others - and you've got a meal fit for a king. Or a queen. And don't forget to save room for dessert. Try the ice cream cupcakes, which consist of five mini-cupcakes of five different flavors, including lemon, strawberry, banana, vanilla and chocolate with mint ice cream.
There's an upscale, gourmet buffet with 16 cooking stations, plus Saturday and Sunday brunches that defy description. Pizza Place, Red 8 (Southeast Asian cuisine) and Zooza Crackers (New York-style deli) will get you in and out and off to your next resort destination. And try the Terrace Pointe Café a great breakfast spot before golf.
From penny slots to high-end limits, if you're looking to place a wager or two, this is the place.
Welcome to Esplanade, a shopping experience that rivals everything else Wynn offers. From Cartier to Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton and Mojitos, you'll find an impressive array of shops. Want more? How about Rolex, the only one of its kind in North America, or Penske Wynn Ferrari Maserati? C'mon, you've always wanted one of the world's finest autos. Here's your chance.
If it's upscale, it's here at Wynn.
Take in LeReve, one of the most exhilarating, amazing shows that defies the imagination. It's a mixture of synchronized swimming, gymnastics, acrobatics and story-telling weaved into 75 minutes of sensory overload that will leave you begging for more.
High energy meets high fashion in places such as Blush and Tryst, upscale nightclubs that let you dance the night away in elegant surroundings.
Looking for a nice, relaxing place and pace? Check out B Bar, Cabana Bar and Casino, the Race and Sports Book Bar Lounge and two other options, Parasol Up or Parasol Down. All sit right in the middle of the action.
We thought you'd never ask. Wynn Golf Club, just steps from your resort room, takes you a world away once you step on the tee. It's a 7,042-yard dynamo from the tips that weaves its way over 137 acres of some of Las Vegas' highest-end property. Tom Fazio and Steve Wynn provide a classic design that excludes nothing. Every detail - no matter how minute - was planned carefully and expertly executed to perfection.
Whew. So much to see and do and so little time.
And to top it off, right next door, Wynn's newest creation, Encore, features more dining, shopping, gaming and nightlife experiences.
Whether you choose Wynn or Encore, all of your expectations will be exceeded. You can bet on it.
