Top of the line golf
One of the best courses I’ve played, but definitely the best course I’ve played in the Delaware beach area. Each hole was distinct and visually beautiful. If the rough was in better shape, this course would have been perfect. If you’re willing to spend a little over $100, this this the course to play.
CPO as absolute JOKE!
Let me first say that I work and a golf course so I’m calling out the high level admin for absolute laziness!! Obviously NO ONE left the pro Shop to see that the course was BONE dry! My guess was the greens keeper was off that day. Cart path only was a joke. After 18 hole not one of us saw a single wet part of the entire course. Balls were bouncing down the fairways all day!!
The course is very nice. One of the must plays if visiting for a week. Now it is Overpriced, but what course isn’t at the beach.
The outside staff was great and agreed with me about my CPO concern. But they don’t make the call.
Pleasing from Start to Finish
We all admit that golf prices have gotten a bit out of control. It’s COVID’s fault for increasing demand without being able to increase supply. That being said, you kind of have to reevaluate value. And, although it’s steep at $161, the value — compared to what’s out there — is quite good.
This course is aesthetically pleasing from start to finish. Despite the fact that it’s nestled into a large suburban neighborhood, you hardly know it while you’re playing because they’ve done such a remarkable job of keeping the houses hidden, probably the best I’ve ever seen.
The course provides a wide range of challenges and rewards. The greens are true, probably rolling at about an 11. For a public course, it truly is hard to beat. I loved every minute of it from my 2 triple-bogey 44 on the front to my 41 with a birdie on the back.
Top-Notch Course
One of the top five courses I’ve ever played. I was very impressed with Baywood Greens. It is a beautiful course, both in layout and aesthetics. The whole course was in great condition. Even the rough is well tended. Happened to play at what seemed like about a week after an aeration, so the greens had some bumpiness in places and rolled a bit slower than I imagine they normally do. Other than that, it was fantastic. I especially like how, even though you’re in the middle of a suburban neighborhood, they’ve designed the course so that you don’t really notice it. I look forward to playing it again.
Great layout, condition, and experience.
Baywood greens is an overall great time. Great practice area to warm up. The course was in great shape. The staff was friendly and helpful. Can't beat this place.
Condition was ok. excessive amount of divots in the fairways were not filled. Made it a little more playable than the last time played. Layout still needs some work.
Greens were recently aerated so they were a little bumpy and slow. Other than that, the course was in beautiful condition, and I will definitely play again real soon.
Little Augusta!
Ok I never played Augusta but Baywood is a beautiful golf course and very challenging for mid hdcp players. The "island fairway" hole is a must see!
