If you ever wanted some insight into a hellish day for a caddie, take a look at Jam Boy’s description of his day yesterday on the links. Little ol’ Jammy carried clubs for two walkers and forecaddied for two riders – simultaneously.
“You’re probably wondering: How in the world are you supposed to carry two bags, take care of those two players AND forecaddie for two lazy bastards in a cart for 18 holes?” he writes. “You got me. I just ran like a crack-addict on speed and hoped I ended up in the right place at the right time.”
The Golf Blog gives us the lowdown on Henrik Stenson, who had a strong first round at the NEC Invitational. It appears safe to say that Jason is now the world’s foremost authority on all things Henrik.
Finally, down in Texas, Kinky “Why the Hell Not” Friedman is running for governor and Bogey McDuff tells us about how Willie Nelson is holding a golf tournament to help raise money for Kinky’s quest. If things don’t work out for Friedman in Texas, he can come over the Atlantic any time he likes to run for prime minister. I know I’ll always choose Kinky over Tony Blair.
