Sean Cochran, David Meyers and Spencer Hux join TravelGolf.com blogs

The TravelGolf.com Blog All-Star squad has recently gotten some new members.

Phil Mickelson’s personal trainer, Sean Cochran, is now on board. Sean, who is also a contributor on the PGA Tour’s Web site, will give readers some interesting tidbits on golf instruction and fitness, as well as an up-close look at the world of pro golf.

Seattle-area teacher and golf coach David Meyers is also on the team now, to share his views on the game, as well as breaking down the swings of such players as Vijay Singh, Sam Snead and Tiger Woods. Rumour has it he’s a scratch golfer with a lousy putting stroke. “Because of this weakness, I coach, watch, and write about this beloved sport instead of trying to make a career of it.”

Finally, Spencer Hux of Charleston, S.C. is on board to give his unique perspective on all things golf.

Spencer, 25, is a caddie at one of South Carolina’s best courses where, he writes, “I see just about every type of golf swing and golf philosophy known to man, which only makes the game more intriguing to me.”

He spent two years teaching high school and coaching golf. “I love everything about the game and I am hoping to begin a career in the golf business while continuing to write as much as possible.”

Welcome to the team, guys!

Nicely balanced squad between the genders. Time to actively pursue additional female voices, and perhaps a different ethnicity or five.

What, Heather and I aren't good enough for you, Ron?

Welcome to the board, fellas. It's nice to see some fresh faces, even if they look kinda orange (I'll mention no names). Looking forward to some good blogging!

Ron, I agree with you, but I don't think women have the physical strength to be world class bloggers.

13-2 may be good odds in a poligamous marriage, but I feel that more than 2 women would be a good thing for TG.C. I'm looking for a cabalinasian woman. However, as I reassess the tanning products that gave David Meyers his radiant glow, he might pass for a man of color. Let's check the lineage.

Thanks for introducing them, Heather. That cast of characters is getting so long it's difficult to notice when a new one arrives anymore, however orange they may be.

Ron Mon, are you sure you're qualified to comment on tanning products? You know, when you put sunscreen on your face, you're supposed to rub it IN. :)

Glad to be a part of the team. The comments on my tan crack me up, I just got back from Maui for the picture. Luckily, there was no wind when I played Kapalua. I have to say, though, after watching the Mercedes, I felt a little better about my own putting... Not really.
