It's Masters time, and like Katie Couric, golf bloggers can't wait to get going

The Masters is approaching and, like Katie Couric heading to CBS, golf bloggers just can’t wait to get going.

New arrival JKing at Rub of the Green kicks things off by sharing his thoughts on the Masters, and I’m sure others feel the same way.

“It is upon us. The week of weeks. It is easily my favorite week all season in terms of pro events. I love the Masters. I love the tradition, the spectacle, the back nine on Sunday, the drama of Amen Corner, Pimento Cheese sandwiches (I don’t even like Pimento Cheese), all of it. In case anyone couldn’t tell, I’m as giddy as a schoolgirl,” writes JKing.

Over at Golf Punk Online they had their own pre-Masters dinner, which is bound to make many wish for Tiger Woods‘ cheeseburger and milkshake choce:

Lamb Rogan Josh x2
Pork Pie x 2
Haribo x 3 (industrial bags)
Naan Bread
Vino Tinto
Colemans mustard
Drum tobacco

Finally, The Golf Blog is showing off a slick new look, and allCarry is talking about the Masters, as well.

“In the wake of Tiger’s remarkable chip in on 16 last year, I thought I might start the week by soliciting comments on the greatest single shot during the Masters,” asks allCarry.

Keep Blogging!

Gotta love the Masters no matter what the TV tries to make out of things.

What's next? Katie Couric reporting at the Masters? Seriously, I think she's terrific...she's got class and she'll give Channel 2 a great new look!
