The Cheap Bastard takes this job seriously. For approximately 45 minutes, three or four days a week, I think of nothing but getting deals for golfers. Sometimes, it can be hard to find these deals, so I’ve decided to just start creating my own.

I am proud to introduce the first deal for what I humbly like to call the “Cheap Bastard Discount Club.”

Thanks to general manager Pete Campbell, Turquoise Valley Golf & RV Park in Bisbee, Ariz., now offers readers of this blog a round of golf with a cart for $25. This is their special twilight rate, but you, my dear readers get this deal all day, any day of the year.

And let me tell you, for a long hitter such as yours truly, Turquoise Valley is the place to be. They call hole No. 15 “The Rattler,” and it could rattle some at 747 yards from the tips. Nothing like playing an actual par 6 to get your blood flowing, however.

The Cheap Bastard is greatly pleased that Turquoise Valley has become the premier course in the Cheap Bastard Discount Club, but he’s always looking for more to join. We’ll keep you updated on which courses will give you a discount just for reading this brilliantly penned blog.

For readers wanting to cash in on this deal, print out this page and present it at the course, or, when you call for a reservation, just tell them the Cheap Bastard sent you.

Going on a RV trip down to the Phoenix area during late January 2006 and looking for places to play golf that will not break the bank.
Any directions will be appreciated.

I would like to find a R.V. Park that is close or in Scottdale. Or close to a couple of pretty nice golf courses that would not break the bank. Dates would be in Feb around the 15 thru the 20th. Do you have anything like that. Do any of the R.V park have a spa close by or in the park
