The Bridges emerges from Katrina with discount rounds of golf
As the year ends, memories of Hurricane Katrina linger, but throughout the Gulf Coast region, tragedy struck citizens have been picking up the pieces.
In line with that comes a golf course re-opening that both shows how Americans have fought back from the brink, as well as giving golfers a nice little deal in the interim.
After suffering serious damage via Katrina, the Bridges Golf Club at Casino Magic Bay St. Louis will reopen on Dec. 15. Discounted green fees from $35 will be offered during this reopening phase.
Aside from working overtime to get their resort and golf course back to pre-hurricane conditions, the folks at Casino Magic have shown they care about their employees by keeping its entire staff paid and with benefits through the ordeal.
So, if you want an affordable round of golf at an Arnold Palmer-designed course, and you want to show your appreciation for all the hard work that’s been done, give them a call.
Tee times and reservations are available for the Bridges by calling (800) 562-4425.
