Sure the Cheap Bastard has been called a ghost – probably due to the creamy white complexion. Makes a guy stand out when the majority of his blogger colleagues are a refreshing shade of orange.

Here at the PGA Merchandise Show & Convention this weekend at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., one would need to be a specter to be able to see all the displays.

For me, first its over to La Jolla Club Golf Company to take a look at their drivers and take advantage of their free “long-drive” competition. Sure it’s only for ladies and juniors, but if you hear someone crying and screaming “I’m being oppressed!” then it’s either me, or someone left “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” on the TV. Either way, I plan on taking my swings.

But anyone who is anyone is here at the PGA Merchandise Show, from Nike to ClubWipes – a “revolutionary” club cleaner. Lots of revolution going on in Orlando this weekend it seems.

The Cheapster will be haunting this show for a while yet. I’ll keep you posted of what else I find and what can benefit you.
