Pittsburgh Steelers are Super Bowl champs, so lets get down and dumb in the Caribbean

The Pittsburgh Steelers are Super Bowl champions, my friends. This proves that anything is possible, which is why the Cheap Bastard will never give up in his endless pursuit to somehow refer to himself in the 11th person, so Cheap Bastard has inferred to relatives of yours truly, the Cheap Bastard.

But this is party time. One for the thumb for the Steelers and one for the dumb for Cheapness, because now is the time to burst brain cells like they were Jiffy Pop. So where to party? Well, nothing less than a cruise will do for me.

As we speak, Royal Caribbean is putting together a seven-night Southern Caribbean cruise on the Adventure of the Seas, with inside cabins running $529 per person while ocean view cabins are $699, leaving Feb. 19 or March 5 from San Juan.

Head over to Royal Caribbean’s Web site and check out the Deals & More section to find out what else they have to offer. If you’ve never been on a cruise, you need to go. It’s a kick-back experience where everyone is fully into the whole thing and just wanders around grinning stupidly. A cruise is what bliss would be like if it found bliss.

Cruises are also one of those trips that it pays to be flexible. If you can take your chances and buy your tickets right before a cruise is set to sail, you’ll find that prices drop. Of course, they may sell out, so it’s a gamble, but if you’re flexible, it should work out.

I know that’s where the Cheap Bastard is supposed to be going, right after he stops swinging his Terrible Towel, or so we’re led to believe.

Actually, anything is NOT possible. The Bills and Vikings have proven that on four occasions, much to my pained chagrin. However, your rhyme schemes are entertaining and, were I not a teacher tied to the desk, I would be on one of those cruises.
