Senior golf discounts in Washington may go way of Andy Card
The Cheap Bastard feels bad for former White House chief of staff Andrew Card.
First, because El Cheapo here isn’t a pinko like a bunch of the other bloggers here, who are probably thrilled to see a Republican get axed. There are no Commie Bastards in this bloodline.
Secondly, I feel bad for Card because if he lives near Seattle, he’s not going to be able to use a senior discount card.
According to the Seattle Times, in Everett, there is a plan to get rid of a senior discount for golfers over the age of 55. The discount saved older golfers nearly $10 a round and up to $550 a year for a season pass.
The seniors have yet to give up hope, however. So, we’d like to put all the Cheap Bastard’s considerable sway into action for you.
Ok, you got me. I’m swayless. But I did write this blog about it, because senior discounts are as American as George W. Bush and Andy Card. And as American as the Cheaptacular One, himself.
Someone needs to counter Comrades McDonald, Wolfrum and Christianson, after all.
