When you have job that requires one or two hastily written and researched blogs every couple months like the Cheap Bastard does, then you’d also be looking for chances to get away from it all.

That’s why your buddy Cheap here is heading down to Destin, Fla., to take advantage of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort’s great Fall deals. Now through Oct. 28, you can get rates of as low as $119 at the Bayside Inn, orhave a pick of several deals, including:

The Family Fun Package, which offers accommodations in a two-bedroom Resort Classic and a plentiful family breakfast buffet at Sunset Bay Café. Daily fall prices for two adults and two children start at $209 per night.

Or how about the Tee for two and two for tea. Tee off at one of the resort’s four distinctly different championship golf courses and take time for tea at Magnolia & Ivy Tearoom in The Village of Baytowne Wharf. The Tee for Two package is from $241 per night.

Another golf deal is the Play Where the Pros Play package, where you can play Raven Golf Club, home of The Boeing Championship at Sandestin, for featuring two nights accommodations in a Dockside Villa, one round of golf per day, $50 gift certificate at the Raven/Baytowne Golf Shop, golf car fee and unlimited use of the practice facility. It starts at $174 per night based on four players.

There are plenty of other deals going on at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, so give them a call at (850) 267-8092. Or, if you’re looking for other great Florida golf deals, take a look at some of our Florida golf packages.

Being that your favorite freckled frugal fellow just banged out a blog, Florida, here I come.
