The Cheap Bastard usually doesn’t have much WAM! That’s “walking around money” for the uninitiated, and it just feels better to shout it. WAM! Gotta get me some WAM! I’d grab a slice of pizza if I just had enough WAM! That other dude sure got screwed when George Michael quit WHAM!

For some of you out there, though, a little WAM! is all you need to be golfing in one of the greatest golf destinations on this planet - Myrtle Beach, as well as countless other destinations. Because right now, Spirit Airlines is having its Ocho Presidente Sale.

On selected dates, you can get to Myrtle Beach from Boston or Detroit for just $8 each way. Or Atlanta to Las Vegas for just $44 each way. Or Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale for just $88.

Head on over to the Spirit Airlines Web site to find out all the deals they have, as well as the fine print.

As for the Cheap Bastard, an $8 deal to the Grand Strand sounds like a WAM!tastic idea.

Actually, the other dude, Andrew whatshisname, did some Formula One driving after, so he wasn't totally SOL.
