If a rolling stone gathers no moss, than yours truly is one mossy Bastard (apologies to cousin Mossy).

Still, occasionally El Cheapo likes to detach from terra firma and head to exotic locales. The problem is that I’m one Cheap Bastard that can’t make plans to save his life.

Like right now, I have accepted an invite to play Tom Fazio’s Barefoot Resort in Myrtle Beach on Saturday.

It’s going to be awesome, with a capita WESOME. One hitch, however. I’m in Las Vegas and don’t have any travel plans made yet.

Luckily, for those of you like me (there must be at least one of you), I stumbled across Site59.com. What does that mean? Well, it means they can help you find tickets up to the 59th minute. Well, at least they can find you a deal up to three hours before boarding, which is pretty impressive.

So, I used their handy search function, and got myself a roundtrip ticket that leaves Thursday and comes back Monday for just $428.

So, if you’re like the Cheap Bastard and think that advanced planning is for the weak, try Site59.com. They have deals all over the nation, and can get you in the air faster than a bag full of trapeze artists.
