Send Michelle Wie to jail like Paris Hilton, watch Internet explode; plus, travel deals!
Add commentsThe Cheap Bastard was wondering if we could get Michelle Wie shuttled off to jail like Paris Hilton. El Bastarderino firmly believes that if such action took place, the Internet would explode, and Fox News would have to create a whole new channel, just to focus on Wie in jail.
Maybe we could make shooting an 83 in the LPGA Championship a jailable offense. Just sayin’.
Of course, that will never happen because the lovely and formerly talented Ms. Wie is nothing but nice. You know what else is nice? Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando.
To celebrate it’s first birthday, Orlando’s newest luxury hotel has created the “Labor in Luxury” special rate, available select days this September, including Labor Day weekend.

Paris Hilton minus the trust fund would be a wannabe porn actress and MW without the hype and rich parents would be in need of some serious special education just to hold a job at Kim Dae Jung Korean BBQ.
Michelle's dad is a college professor. Rich? Michelle graduated from Punahou and is headed to Stanford in the fall. Needs "special education"? Just the facts, please.
She finished last today. TRUE
She is in awe of her own hype. TRUE
She answers questions like a mentally challenged person, and appears unable to live up to her predictions. TRUE
If you check the record her father spent over $40,000 in one year hauling her around to amateur events. TRUE
She doesn't appear to be college material much less Stanford material. TRUE
With her father’s connections and their combined wealth she could get into any college. TRUE
I'll apologize when she graduates.
I don't really want her to fail and I don't have anything to do with it, but she will fade away within a year. MAYBE
If this bothers me at all, it's because she is blowing a chance that most people will never even come close to having. TRUE
I apologize for saying that she wouldn't tee off today, but most of what I have said will be true. She may win the Masters, But I think she might want to lower her sights a bit. IMHO.

Actually it costs well over a hundred thousand a year to support an amateur golfer from Hawaii. This is why K2 was forced to move to Arizona from the Big Island.
Michelle was able to take advantage of rule four contained in the Rules of Golf (Rules of Amateur Status) to underwrite her amateur expenses.
Sponsors of golf tournaments are able to pay expenses for amateur golfers to appear through the local USGA chapter of the player.
The expenses can include travel cost, hotels, food and other customary expenses including practice time before the event. For a minor the expenses of a guardian or parent can be included.
Now you can see why Michelle would accept sponsor's exemptions to LPGA/PGA tournaments and schedule her amateur appearances around her playing in the professional event.
As far as Stanford is concerned. the Letter of Recommendation from Doctor Rice (former regent) weighed more heavily in the decision process than anything BJ Wie could do for her. Of course Michelle did need the SAT scores and academic credentials to carry the day for acceptance.
Finally everyone was disappointed in Michelle's comeback to the LPGA tour including Michelle. It takes awhile to rehab from injury and regain what was lost. To me the first two rounds LPGA Championship were pretty remarkable when you consider she took her driver out of play. As time went on in the event you could see her frustration with not hitting the ball flush and favoring her wrists.
Try playing 72 holes of golf over four days under tournament conditions and you could easily tell that any injury makes major complications in your golf game.
Excellent sob story.
All that's lacking is a little somber violin music.
Next post work in the Budapest String Quartet.
Bubbles may not belong in jail, but she could be brought up on some 1)serios charges:
1)Lying to the news media about the bogus wrist "injuries."
2)Larceny by trick and taking money under false pretenses.
And,
3)Impersonating a professional golfer.
I checked out MW timeline from 2001 to present and it played like a broken record. The poor first rounds and the remark of "I guess I will have to shoot a 64 tomorrow." It seems that the problems she had when she was 11 are the same problems that she is having now. She is still planning on playing in the US Open at the end of June under much more difficult conditions that at Bulle Rock. The media must have
a "top secret-need to know" clearance to get any information from the Wie Camp. I wonder who really makes the decisions in the Wie Camp? BJ always states that it is MW that has the last say...I wonder.
Hey, Alex. You shot your wad in the prelims and have nada left. I warned you to save some of that acerbic wit for game time. Your three shots don't even reach the cup, although the 3rd comes closest. "Impersonating a professional golfer" -- c'mon, I know you can do better.
Joe Cool -- where've you been? Seems to be a massive info gap between where you are now and, say, six years ago. Since you're wondering so much, why not turn it inward and wonder about where you're getting all your insights. Probably the same place where you found your "Joe Cool" alias.
