U.S. Open has nothing on WorldGolf.com's free golf club giveaway

Win a free golf book!

The Cheap Bastard loves watching the world’s best golfers get their collective hats handed to them at the U.S. Open. Whatever the hell that means.

But El Cheapo loves to see great golfers struggle on the course. My only wish is they’d let the fans hurl rocks at the players as they putt. Try to break par with a stone upside the head, big shots.

So in the Cheap Bastard’s world, the U.S. Open is barely a blip on the radar. I don’t see any great golf deals or free golf clubs coming out of Oakmont, so why should I care? At WorldGolf.com, you can win a free set of Ping golf clubs, however. Now that has my attention.

All you need to do is fill out a quick and painless reader survey here, and you’ll put yourself in the running to win a set of Ping clubs, including a bag.

So head on over, take the survey and maybe you’ll win some free clubs. Remember, your odds of winning will be much better than anything you can get at the U.S. Open, where the best you can hope for is a free time watching some putt roll 75,000 feet on the fast-as-glass Oakmont greens.
