WorldGolf.com's Golf Book Giveaway - a better life is a golf course review away

Tuesday June 26, 2007 | 17:35:30 315 words, 9034 views
Win a free golf book!

When the Cheap Bastard heard about WorldGolf.com’s latest promotion, yours truly headed for the hills. You’ll just have to trust El Cheapo - he’s been booked enough.

Then, after rereading, I realized this was a promotion I could get behind. What Los Cheaperino is speaking of is WorldGolf.com’s Golf Book Giveaway.

It’s a simple as could be. All you need to do is tell WorldGolf.com a little about your favorite, or least favorite, golf course by giving us a reader review in our exit polls sections.

(Begin Cut-and-Paste Section) To submit a reader review, find the course page in our U.S. golf course guide and click on the “Fill out an Exit Poll!” link. Our exit polls give you a chance to rate a round of golf at a particular course. (End Cut-and-Paste Section)

After that, you’ll be automatically placed in a drawing to win a free Gotham book. The books you can win are:

– “The Art of the Short Game: Tour-Tested Secrets for Getting Up and Down” by Stan Utley and Matthew Rudy,

– “Zen Putting: Mastering the Mental Game on the Greens” by Joseph Parent, or

– “Tommy’s Honor: The Story of Old Tom Morris and Young Tom Morris, Golf’s Founding Father and Son” by Kevin Cook.

Remember, all it takes to enter is to give your opinion on a golf course, be it good or bad. And winners will get some fine Gotham reading.

Because take it from the Cheap Bastard, if there’s one thing I can tell you about hot chicks, it’s that they’ll drop everything and have sex with you once they find out you read golf books. And if you’re female, well, reading golf books makes you 75% hotter. It’s a scientific fact.

For more information click here, and for official contest rules click here. Some good reading and a better personal life are just a reader review away.
