Sorry Dukie Coach K defenders, Michelle Wie fans & Lovely Mario: Justin Timberlake's posse giving me more love

It’s sad day for all those high brow, low class Dukies, those Wie Warriors who soak up Michelle Wie’s marketing mumbo jumbo like rats following the Pied Piper (or Cameron Crazies trailing Coach Bully Fraud) and the breathtaking but delusional Jennifer Mario (think of the girl in The Glass Menagerie).

I’m getting yet more love for my brilliant, fakers-revealing prose. Justin Timberlake’s fans - now these are lovely people - have waxed poetic about my Timberlake truths in their shrine message board.

I particularly enjoy the “There are so many wonderful quotes in this article that I think I will come in here and point them out all day long” post complete with the smiley face on a pink cloud icon. Now, that’s a sophisticated, enlightened reader.

A little something for you Wie Warriors to strive for, huh?

And there’s no truth to the rumor I wrote this blog just to pimp my new Justin Timberlake Q & A available now on the front page of BadGolfer.com.

I’d read it now, while it’s hot though. Michelle Wie might even call it “sparkly.”

Baldy please explain this trash. What has it got to do with golf.

I wonder how much Pressel cried last night. She probably hasn't stopped yet.
Creamer probably joined her.

i think that many of the things you state are very true, but justin timberlake is someone with whom you are not acquainted with and therefore cannot criticize him. i am tired of people giving him such a bad name. if you can sing, dance, or even be noticed in his prescence, then hats off to you. if not, then you have no right to make him look bad. don't be jealous of someone you can never become. and no, i will not end my rant witha cutsie face. not all girls who love justin are shallow and stupid.

Maria I am acquainted with Justin Timberlake and I love him for being real. I've even shaken the man's hand. (Oh my god moment for sure! Not that I'm a "shallow or stupid girl.") See the blog and story referenced above.

Timberlake gets ripped more than anyone, but in truth he's much more legit than Coach K or Michelle Wie, just to name two.

As for the "cutsie" face icons, I love those as well. After putting up with these Wie Warriors, it's a breath of fresh air.

Rock on Timberlake! Or pop rock on Timberlake! Whatever you'd say to such an obvious talent.

Oh wait, does this mean I'll never get invited back to the men's only club I played outside Phoenix Thursday? Oh well, I'll stick with the 280-yard drive bombing Timberlake. Nobody recognized Roger Maris in his prime either.

Justin still has Britney Spears' number too, no?

For all you losers (specifically Zac and David)who have to trash other players to pimp your favorite Miss Wie - why don't you grow up and learn to appreciate the talent all these young ladies have. Two under ain't a choke, but 82 in the 4th round of a major when you have the lead after 3 is.

If Annika and Tiger won every time they teed it up, professional golf would be a boring game to watch.

Golf is a most fickle game to master. One day you have it and one day you don't. When you lay off for more than a couple of weeks, it feels like you have never held a club in your hands.

Some of my fellow Wie supporters have boldly predicted a win this year for Michelle, some including a victory at a Major. I don't hold such high expectations for a couple of reasons:

Michelle will have to eliminate the bad round by reducing her bogies. As her game matures she will discover that you carefully pick your bogey holes and many times it is smarter to lay-up rather than going for it every time. Shooting par for four rounds will sometimes be the winning score for a LPGA tournament.

The second reason it might be difficult for Michelle to win is based on how infrequently she plays tournament golf. It is amazing she is as consistent as she is when she has some really long layoffs between matches. Golf is a rhythm game all the way and one develops this by repetition of swing, stance and yes, playing in tournaments.

Shooting 82 in a major championship as a 15 year old part time golfer.
Should that be a surprise to anyone. When was the last time this happened.
Grow up.
