Bashing Rush Limbaugh without facts shows an ignorance beyond even Michelle Wie Warriors
If you want to bash Rush Limbaugh, there’s surely plenty of ammunition out there. Just bring some of it. Deal in facts.
Instead we have TravelGolf.com’s ambiguously liberal duo Tim McDonald - a waffler of John Kerry proportions and William K. Wolfrum - a man so out there that Howard Dean thinks he’s wacky - engaging in schoolyard name calling.
First, there’s McDonald calling Limbaugh a “Third Reich radio commentator", which isn’t offensive as much as it’s absurd. But McDonald wasn’t done yet. Having run out of his “A material", he threw in “fat.” Insightful.
Then there’s K. the man who thinks everyone’s interested in his middle initial using a blog to essentially rip on a reader for calling McDonald a Nazi sympathizer, while not mentioning that the reader was only parroting McDonald’s own weak Nazi line on Limbaugh (selective liberal memory?)
K. really losses it when he makes the claim that “What Wie will have over Limbaugh is that her stardom will be for all the right reasons.”
This is the same guy who’s cracked hilarious jokes about Michelle Wie’s inability to win in about … oh, only every other blog. Yet when pumping Wie helps him knock Limbaugh, K.’s spinning faster than an old eight track. Oh, that great liberal shimmey.
What would those right reasons be? A marketing machine with no basis in bottomline sports results as opposed to a man who doesn’t fit any Hollywood stardom type (not good looking, young or shallow) turning himself into the most successful radio show host in history through hard work. (You can say what you want about Limbaugh’s views, it takes a tremendous amount of work and drive to become that successful from where he started - as opposed to Wie’s marketing machine setup.)
The right reasons? Please.
I’m the only one at TravelGolf.com who actually saw how Limbaugh treated people at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. He appreciated the fans, showed a love for golf history and mocked his own game (now that last one takes a secure brilliant mind). The guy’s a gentleman, not some loudmouth lout. And I have often voted Democrat.
Sorry if that offends the most extreme left. But it’s dealing in facts, personal experience. Something a little more substantial than a fat joke.
Michelle Wie is 0 for 32 in her pro career. That’s a fact. Come up with some of your own for Rush Limbaugh.
And people wonder why the Republicans keep winning all the elections?
Bill Maher’s embarrassed by this attempt at Rush Limbaugh bashing. This is arguing on a below George Clooney level.
Though Alec Baldwin might be down with it.

Wolfman and Ronald use the same attack methods as Pelosi, Reid, Dean, Skerry, Kennedy, Murtaugh or numerous other Liberal Shills. If you tell them (Americans)it is bad, it must be bad. The more you tell them how bad it is the worse it must be.
Don't offer facts or solutions because you have none and it might cloud the message that it is really bad.
Unemployment is 4.5 percent (not seen at this level since the 1960s), the economy is growing at a robust 3.5 percent, taxes are lower and we continue to kick some serious Radical Islamist ass around the World.
Life is Good.
She's actually 0-4 in her pro career.
K thanks...stfu now.
Tim McDonald is obviously in his own little liberal world, where everything he believes is correct and should never be challenged. Oh and if you do disagree with him uuuummm.... your a Nazi and ummmm.... your fat.
Brilliant Tim M, keep it up. I love it when liberals show their true colors.
You showed what you're made of by defending someone whom you personally may not even agree with much of the time, but who showed himself to you to be a genuinely fine individual. You obviously recognized that and felt compelled to stand up to people who would tear someone down even though they don't know him.
Good for you; I also recognize a fine individual- you. Keep doing what you do, maybe this is why you seem to have more work published in more places than those others. Could be, you never know. Sadly, most of the commenters posting before me seem to display the same ignorance and lack of character that the other writers did. They are wrong, and I apologize to you for them; please disregard their stupidity.
No, don't say that it is a simple mistake. I don't buy that because it was not a blunder on spelling or grammar. Nobody in their right mind would believe that it was mistyped. I think you did that on purpose in order to chum.
To give you the benefit of doubt, let's say it was a goof. Still you are inexcusable because making such mistake as a professional writer is simply much worse than not being able to win in 32 games in you know what.
You said "A marketing machine with no basis in bottomline sports results" and "as opposed to Wie's marketing machine setup"
Are you suggesting that marketing by Wie, Wie's family, William Morris or the media is a bad thing?
If you are, then you must be a communist. Marketing is in the heart of Capitalism which most Americans think is good thing.
Yes, you can say there is a good and bad marketing but do you really think that marketing by Wie is bad for me, you, children or society? Just tell me one bad thing that marketing by Wie has inflicted upon us.
You said "You can say what you want about Limbaugh's views, it takes a tremendous amount of work and drive to become that successful from where he started - as opposed to Wie's marketing machine setup."
You are a hypocrite to say that. You know that it takes a unimaginable amount of effort and sacrifice to become that good at golf at that age - as opposed to Rush's marketing effort.
You should treat others the way you want to be treated.
Who is worse? An adult bashing another adult or an adult bashing a teenage girl?
You are shameless.

Thank you Brian. FInally someone else has articulated what has been making me so angry at Baldwin and his fellow bloggers.
Rage at the marketing machine if you must but quit beating on the kid. I really don't understand why there is so much anger and animosity towards MW. She is a kid doing some amazing things.
And the outrageous distortion of the facts to bolster the bashing eg: Michelle Wie is 0 for 32 in her pro career. That's a fact..
No that is not fact. Her pro career is 4 losses so far. Anything previous to that was as an amateur. She still has 30 pro career and 9 years to go to start at the same place as Annika started. (I believe this was where Annika started: age 25. 34 pro starts before an LPGA title)
Annika herself has said that MW is at a whole other level from where AS was at 16.
Pure and unadulterated jealousy of the success of BJ Wies marketing of his daughters talent is what's behind the angst of these bloggers.
Jeez, if I could get a marketing machine working like this for my kids, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
You just proved you don't know what your talking about! Thanks.
Thought about doing comedy work yet?
You'd be a hit!
