Rosie O'Donnell the hypocrite in Trump View feud: Surprise The Donald's right

There are many things you can take issue with Donald Trump over. Fighting with Rosie 0′Donnell isn’t one of them however.

The Donald is clearly in the right in this battle between attention whores.

O’Donnell started it by blasting Trump on The View - a show that’s basically Rosie sitting there making a fool of herself while other largely clueless women try not to cringe. O’Donnell was upset, as the entire free world knows by now, because Trump had the nerve to tell Miss USA she couldn’t be drinking herself into oblivion and acting like a sailor on shore leave while she wore the crown and represented the company.

Cue Rosie Rant: “He’s the moral authority? He left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair. Had kids both times, but he’s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America.”

And there’s where O’Donnell put her foot in her mouth.

Forget Trump. Rosie O’Donnell’s shown again and again that she believes she’s the moral authority for celebrities. This is the woman who accused Kelly Ripa of homophobia because Ripa had the gall to object to American Idol fame fader Clay Aiken putting his hand over her mouth on live TV.

This is also the woman who’s tried to convince her audience that Oprah is gay. Guess O’Donnell figures its her moral duty to tell us who’s homosexual and who’s not because she’s open about her own sexuality. You’d think there’d be more understanding in Rosie’s world.

This is also the national TV host who mocked the Chinese language by speaking gibberish in the kind of rant that got Cowboys coach Bill Parcells and Shaq a fair amount of heat. But because it’s Rosie O’Donnell, it’s largely ignored.

Hey, you think people want Rosie yelling at them next?

Please it’s no contest. Trump is the clear sentimental choice in this feud. No matter what you think of his golf course dealings.

And now that WorldGolf.com’s BTuck has clearly revealed himself as the biggest Trump kiss up on staff (and Trump doesn’t even call him!), I do feel I have some authority in saying this.

Though not a moral one.

Actually Donald Trump admitted he started the feud in his Fox interview. He saw Rosie at a New York premiere, went up to her, and said: "Congratulations on your failed magazine."

Rosie had every right not to enjoy him after that. Plus he went off on Martha as well.

Actually, what strikes me about this whole sordid affair is that they're both saying terrible things about each other, and they're both right.

Thanks for shedding more light on a worthless story generated by Trump's publicity people since he's got a new season of the Apprentice coming up soon.

Another home run, Chris.

They're both shameless self promoters, and really good at getting people to talk about them... It's as simple and as complicated as that. Neither of them are in a position to be sanctimonious and I think they both realize this and I think they don't care. They'll just keep doing what they do and getting tons of attention. Good for them.

I like the comments to this article. Frankly, Rosie is nuts, and Donald is well, Donald, he's the promoter. Either way with all there money, there both losers in the end. In the final run, America is sick of all the phonies, and would like to see both of these clowns disappear.

I like them both in some instances but with the feud right now, both have loud mouths. One should have stayed silent just like Clay Aiken did with Kelly Ripa. They want attention. They get it but it is all trash.

Trump's a blowhard and not funny.

Rosie O'Donnell is at least funny, and she has a good Irish name. She's kicking Trumps ass.

Trump giving Miss America "another chance" is indeed the lowest form of hypocrisy.

Just because the guy owns the world, he thinks he can tell the world what to do. He's become a caricature of himself, which was laughable to begin with.

George Steinbrenner said you could buy any sportswriter for a $10 steak. Trump bought Chris Baldwin with a phone call.

I hear Chris watches Regis and Cathy every morning.

Again, a pox on both their houses. However, Trump has a right to determine who will and will not be given a second chance within the context of the scope of his authority.

When Star Jones was on The View, Trump was made to feel like he owned the show,... The View even featured his new wife and new born on the show one day. It was so NOTHING !!!! Who cares about Trump, his newest wife and newest new born???,... only Star Jones who wanted to be goody, goody in with Trump and his world.

I'm glad Trump is being challenged.

Lina,

A show like the view trades on frivolity and fluff. And what strikes me about it is that Barbara Walters has finally found a group of people amongst whom she looks intelligent.
