I came to the PGA Show hoping to get away from musicians posing as golfers. Both the real musicians and the Taylor Hicks kind. But there I was on the first night of the golf industry’s mad mixer, checking out the Hard Rock Hotel around midnight and up pulls the biggest black limo ever seen.
And out pops Kenny G. Yes, the curly haired saxophone tooting man of elevator music legend. A glance into G’s limo shows a pulsating blue interior and enough alcohol to keep John Daly sated for a week. You just don’t expect Kenny G. to be rolling in a rig that could make a rapper swoon. The entourage is there too, though G’s men are wearing expensive suits.
A Hard Rock employee watching the scene assured me that, “Mr. G is very nice.”
He’s also a diehard golfer. Think it’s coincidence that Mr. G scheduled a concert in Orlando the first night of the PGA Show? OK, it is. At least somewhat. But that doesn’t mean Kenny G didn’t have his people over at the Convention Center, looking for some golf gear swag.
For more on Kenny G’s golf game, stay tuned to BadGolfer.com in the coming weeks.

Annika Sorenstam drinking with?

you don't know a thing about real music, do you. Until you obtain an ear for music, I suggest you refrain from showing your ignorance...especially when it's criticizing a REAL musician.
be qualified to roadie for groups like
The Beatles.
Lisa..."the Beatles STUNK"? What are you ON?!
Booger...aptly named. "Taylor Hicks wouldn't roadie for the Beatles"...Name five new artists bands that would. C'mon, betcha hurt yourself trying, but it should be fun.
