R.L., just look upon Alex as one of those old maids I mentioned. They are great at jumping to conclusions, rumors, gossip and when all else fails, make something up. Kind of like Chris Baldwin does when he has nothing better to do.

I didn't even mention Michelle. Just talked about Pressel. So she missed a cut. She missed a couple last year. Everyone on the PGA tour and LPGA tour misses cuts.

I think if you asked for a show of hands and asked any regular player on either tour if they would like to have a record after 5 tournaments played on tour of two top fives, a 13th, a win at the only major of the year, and a MISSED CUT, you would see a sea of hands.

Pressel went all the way from 1st place to missed cut.

You might say what does Michelle know about winning, but what does she know about lpga missed cuts either.

When Michelle was 26th at the British Open they were calling it some sort of disaster. 26th is a long way from a missed cut, and proves how badly Pressel stunk it up at the Ginn Open.

I think it is very impressive that Laura is doing as well as she is trying for the one or two wins she still needs for the LPGA Hall of Fame. I hope I didn't jinx her by expressing my support when she was leading with -12 and two holes left.

Laura Davies and Lorena Ochoa are two of the nicest people in the womens game.
+5 for the last 2 by Laura.

What kindness and generosity they showed towards their less wealthy playing partner Brittany Lincicome.
They even let a bogey on the last by Brittany be enough to take her over the line. Such nice people they are.

Well done to Brittany for cleaning up the spills, she could have screwed it up as well, but she stuck in there.
