RON-MON.....a 'lack' of gravity on Jupiter??? According to Wikipedia, Jupiter's surface gravity is 2.33 times that of Earth! Just a suggestion, but you may want to stick with golf writing/blogging...and leave the "science" stuff to others! ;)

Well he wasn't that brilliant really. He did play very well though, and he might be starting a run to try to catch Jack Nicklaus historic run of 17 major 2nd places.

Well, those 2 guys at the USGA blog are plenty happy about Cabrera's win especially when they were writing that they didn't want to see anyone win, but TW.

Why does the USGA seem to prefer over par as the winning score as opposed to the British Open and USPGA?

The US Open says it provides the sternest test of golf...

The USGA makes the greens so ridiculously tough that great putters lose their competitive edge. Ball striking is the number one priority, and that is why you have mutts vs pedigree's competing down the stretch at the US Open.

America was founded by the mutt, and that's exactly how the USGA wants it.

Umm... did you read the USGA blogs because their two bloggers seem to be rooting for anyone, but Tiger Woods? After Round 3, they can't root for Zach Johnson anymore because ZJ had a fit with the USGA..
