Annika has so many irons in the fire, that are earning her so much money, that she will retire after 2008. The same with Tiger and his thousand different projects beside golf. He would only play the four majors if he could get away with it. I think Annika will win three more tournaments this year and that will make a tidy 75 of which she will be happy.

Nobody retires from golf. They play it for life. I believe this retirement announcement as much as I believed Stan Van Gundy stepped down from the Heat to spend more time with his teenage daughter. Right.
