Peter Post offers etiquette lessons for golf
Peter Post knows a thing or two about etiquette. The Vermont-based author has written the New York Times bestseller, Essential Manners for Men, as well as Essential Manners for Couples.
He brings his common sense on the subject to golf with his book, Playing Through. Post gives useful tips about golf, a game filled with social do’s and don’ts that often only insiders understand. He addresses:
• How to deal with slow play.
• What to do if you’re late, a cardinal sin in golf.
• How to handle a gimme.
• Dealing with sandbaggers and other cheaters.
• How to handle a friendly round for some cash.
The book, by HarperCollins Publishers, costs $19.95.
