John Andrisani releases latest book, "Golfweek’s 101 Swing Golf Tips"
John Andrisani has written almost as many golf books as Phil Mickelson has PGA Tour wins. Right now, Mickelson is the leader in the clubhouse with 39 wins, but with Lefty’s up-and-down play the last 18 months and Andrisani still pumping out books, it’s likely the scribe will eventually surpass Lefty.
Andrisani has written more than 30 books with his latest being “Golfweek’s 101 Swing Golf Tips.” It’s not as elegant as the latest Golf Magazine instructional manuals on the market, but with its smaller pocket-size and lower price ($12.95), it still packs some punch. It even caters to other lefties with tips specifically written for those southpaws who get no love from other instructional manuals.
Andrisani, a Florida resident who is a former editor of instruction at Golf Magazine, taps the expertise of Gary Player, Seve Ballesteros, Raymond Floyd, Michelle Wie, Fred Couples and Greg Norman, among others. His chapters cover driving, trouble shots, short game, putting, par-3 tee shots and fairway play. The book, released by Skyhorse Publishing on March 25, retails for $12.95.
