Enjoy a stay-and-play golf trip to Green Valley Ranch with rounds at Royal Links and Desert Pines in Las Vegas
Las Vegas has so many big name resorts – The Wynn, Caesar’s Palace, Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, Bellagio – that it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle.
The Green Valley Ranch might not have the name recognition as the big boys on The Strip, but it delivers all of the luxury and fun of its competition.
A new golf package includes a three-night stay at the resort, coupled with complimentary VIP transportation to and from your rounds of golf at Royal Links Golf Club and Desert Pines Golf Club. The offer extends until the end of February, 2013, costing just $249 per person. As an added bonus, a $25 resort credit comes with it.
The two Walters Golf properties couldn’t be more different or unique. Desert Pines aims to replicate a Carolinas feel in the desert with its rolling land and pine trees lining the fairways. Royal Links skips across the pond to the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, mimicking holes from famous British Open venues. Fourteen courses have hosted the British Open since its inception in 1860, and 11 are represented at Royal Links. Of the three holes from the Old Course at St. Andrews, it’s the 10th that remains the most memorable. Players hit over a billboard and stone fence meant to mimic the famous tee shot of the “Road Hole,” the 17th at St. Andrews. The fifth hole, a mirror image of the 12th at St. Andrews, is the first of two drivable par 4s, although five hidden fairway bunkers have other plans.
After golf, Green Valley Ranch spoils guests with gambling, live entertainment, an Irish pub, a sports bar, a spa, multiple restaurants and fine rooms.
