Fila Golf goes soft with its summer golf polo shirts
Now that summer’s finally here, it’s time to coordinate what we wear to the course with the season.
Fila Golf’s California golf polos come in eight bold colors, a perfect look for summer. I had a tough time turning down the Maize yellow polo (I’m a University of Michigan fan) but the Nirvana Purple I ordered (see above) was just too uniquely different to pass up. For sheer name value, the Vanilla Ice is pretty sweet, too.
I have so many golf shirts in my closet (at last count it was around 22) that it takes a real winner to actually make it into my playing rotation. My new Fila shirt will join my exclusive club for one simple reason. It’s so darn soft.
The fabric content is 86 percent polyester and 14 percent spandex, a blend that offers moisture wicking and anti-bacterial properties. This Fila tech-dry moisture management system helps keep golfers cool on sticky, hot days. The fabric draws moisture and sweat away from the body by transferring it to an outer layer, allowing it to evaporate quickly. The wicking fabrics dry very rapidly, keeping players cool, dry and comfortable during any activity.
Dollar for dollar, these $60 shirts are some of the best values on the market. Fila Golf sells a full line of other shirts, outerwear, headgear, pants, shorts and more, so visit its Web site here.
