Agreed: weird game. Just played a round in which my back nine was 8 strokes better than my front. Not clear at all what I changed, but a couple of putts, and I'd have gone from barely breaking 50 to almost breaking par.

Coincidentally, also toying with a new grip.

I disagree with Joe. Who cares about a guy simply named "Joe"? What a boring name.

Seriously, we all have these hopes and dreams. Whether par is true par or one we have set for ourselves, advancing to a new level is a rush. Knowing that others have made it gives us hope. Joe, write a blog entry, send it to Jason and ask him to publish it. Then we'll let you know our thoughts.

Thank you for the support Meraj Shah. At the same time, I agree with Joe's point. No one wants to hear a braggart gushing about his-her game. Here's the difference ...

I think you can tell from the tone of the blog that I'm hardly bragging. More like making fun of my own lack of ability. I didn't write this to "showcase" my skill. Rather, it's as a perfect example of how weird this game is. One minute you whiff, the next you shoot a number. No other game in the world is so confounding on so many levels.

Oh come now Joe. Don't be so hard on Jason. Everyone is allowed to talk about a good round at least once:)

These kind of blog entries are the most boring ever written. Sorry, no one cares.
