IMO, anyone who neglects to take the umbrella on any golf trip (Cabo being the lone exception) has a screw loose! Am I right, Mr. Accidental Golfer?

And I'm securely in the middle position: I take an umbrella for use when I'm not playing golf, but definitely won't take it on the course. Learned that from many rounds in Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England in 50 mph winds.

I'm with B-Tuck. Just give me waterproofs (including a bucket hat) and I'm good to go. I tend to buy a couple of shirts there so that's even less to pack. Good article!

I'm in the leave the umbrella at home camp. We'll see who''s right.

And for the love of god bring plenty of balls. Balls are pricey over there and the fescue is gnarly.
