Yesterday was my birthday, and I can cry if I want to.
Here’s why I want to: My husband and I cleared our schedules and got a babysitter so we could celebrate the big 3-6 properly with a round of golf. Things were going just great—I was two over through six—when disaster struck.

Are we sure the Weetabix Women’s British Open isn’t being played Down Under? Because one look at the leaderboard and you’ll wonder if it accidentally got turned upside-down.
The names we might expect to see near the top—Karrie Webb, for one, defending champion Jeong Jang for another—have sunk to the bottom. Jang’s currently tied for last place, and Webb missed the cut altogether. She finished at +14, helped along by two snowmen, including one today on the par-3 9th.
