You're right. But so far, I haven't heard (or experienced) airlines getting that picky if the bag is within the weight limits. Of course, that could change on a dime if they decide to enforce these rules.

Just a word of warning, though: Be careful if you pack other stuff besides golf gear in your golf travel cover. I used to do that and got busted a couple of years ago by Continental (now United). In the small print, airlines actually limit what you can carry in your golf bag, no matter how much under the 50 lbs it is.

Hi Katherine<br />
I too have been to the Brunswick Islands of North Carolina. You are right - the atmosphere and pace is much calmer but the quality of golf is spectacular. I would highly recommend this area.

Just a couple of months ago I read and article about Royal Isabela openning and I found it interesting so I just call and booked my next vacations. I just came back and could say it was astonishing. It really take care of natural spaces, natural views, well design-thinked and in addition well constructed. They synced most of the complex planning needed to achive what I just experienced. It's the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy with your family the beauty of Puerto Rico nature. Now I'm reading about Royal Isabela because it's too much more about what I originally expected. Congratulations for such a great vision/achivement/progress/etc.
