So for all my obsessive-compulsive dithering over my fanatsy golf team last week, circumstances forced me to just pick my players and forget about it. I was out of town and never had a chance to even look to see who made the cut. Lucky for me, I had Philly Mick–the eventual winner–picked, along with 3 other players who all made the cut. I came out on top of my league for the week!

Not so lucky this week. I had Philly Mick again, but didn’t have him activated. I figured he’d be hard-pressed to keep up the torrid pace. (I was relying on what’s called regression toward the mean, for all you statistics wonks out there.)

Then he goes and shoots a course record 62 on the first day of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. And two of my picked-too-early players didn’t even enter after all. Ugh.

That was aquick slide from 1st to 4th in the division.

My arm is starting to hurt, man. And this sweet-tooth is unbearable….
