I know it ain’t golf, but damn it, I’m sick to bloody death of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Star whore Oprah gushed all over Cruise when he appeared on her show. She was so ecstatic that he was so ecstatic and the audience was just so, well, ecstatic. WHO THE HELL CARES? Several years ago, my brother-in-law commented how much he was looking forward to the US Open. I replied that I was too, but that I was really stoked about the British Open ("The” Open), and that it was by far my favorite major. Televised golf has gotten about as bad as it can get. In fact, it’s gotten downright obscene. And I’m not talking about David Toms’ middle finger. Before elaborating, let me say that I am pretty much the furthest thing from a prude you can find. In fact, I think Paris Hilton’s Hardee’s commercial is just fine.
