Duramed Futures Tour debuts new website

Tuesday March 11, 2008 | 15:33:05 130 words, 3962 views
Win a free golf book!

LPGA fans can now track future stars of that tour – like world number one-ranked Futures alumna Lorena Ochoa – on the shiny new Duramed Futures Tour website.

The website features comprehensive player profiles, and, for true Futures Tour fans, player blogs.

Hey, we know it’s a busy world. There’s just so much time in the day for golf, and the PGA probably takes most of that.

However, if you’re a girl or young woman just getting into the game, or the parent of one, the Futures Tour offers a fresh, stylish, and fun perspective on the sport, and role models with whom younger girls can identify.

Hey, even some of us older guys rank ourselves among the fans of the LPGA’s developmental tour. Some of us even write books about it.

Figured SOMEONE should leave you a comment, don't imagine there's gonna be TOO many for this post. *sigh*

Seriously - you're a "senior writer" for travelgolf? Dang, I'm gonna be sending Nessmith a letter or two.

Heck, he could have ME instead for a whole lot less - 4 tickets to Masters week and I'd work the rest of the year for free. I'm positive I could come up with AT LEAST a column a week...and be considerably more 'visible' in the blogosphere.

Be careful what you wish for, BV. Think you're man enough to blog for us? I can't promise Masters tickets, but if you're interested, drop me a line.

What kind of egotist cares about comments?
Oh...ones with pretentious initials for monikers.
But hey, I'm with Mark--the more the merriier.

Well, it IS kind of late to get tickets for THIS year....but I'll want them for next year, Mark! Sent a note via the contact page. Once we connect I'll forward some actual writing samples...not just 'comments' on other folks blogs! ;)

Kiel...if we're gonna be colleagues, my initials are neither inaccurate NOR pretentious - they are simply mine. ;)
