Vision golf balls are an Aussie alternative to Titleist and Nike

Watching the commercials during this year’s British Open – or any televised golf tournament, actually – you’d think there are only two brands of golf balls: Titleist and Nike.

There are all sorts of balls on the market, though, that conform to USGA and R&A rules. And some are pretty darn good – and pretty darn cheap, compared to the big names.

My current favorite is Vision Golf Balls from Australia. These are available exclusively in the U.S. from SMT Golf.

These balls come in three flavors: one for feel, one for distance, and one that actually soaks up UV rays and glows a bit in the dust/dark. Perfect for those late-evening summer rounds. The first two perform identically to their more well-known competitors. And the last one, well, none of the big guys offer anything like it.

At $30/dozen they are cheaper than most big-name brands, and SMT will even throw in some gift cards with each dozen.

So celebrate Greg Norman’s remarkable performance with a golf ball from his homeland. It’s easier than finding a hot tennis legend to marry.

Hi Kiel,

Thank you for the kind review of our current ball line-up.
Mike Tait of SMT Golf has been a great support through
this early stage of developing our brand in the USA.

We think there is room for a new take on ball designs.

Best Regards,
The Boz from Oz.
