Masters Coverage: Live 3rd Round Blogging (pt. 1)

Saturday April 11, 2009 | 16:57:05 156 words, 1331 views
Win a free golf book!

A tradition unlike any other: Me getting paid to watch T.V.

That’s right, it’s time for The Masters again, the major that does to apostrophes what Augusta National does to women members.

Seriously, no matter what your commitment to golf, if you appreciate the game at all, this is a special time of year. So without futher ado let us embark on two days of live blogging…

I’ll begin with an observation: If Chad Campbell wins this thing, he might just kill The Masters. I mean, I’ve seen guys get more animated over their morning BM than he does over birdies at Augusta. He makes former champion Zach Johnson look like Cedric the Entertainer in comparison.

I think it’s time the august members of Augusta National Campbell-proof the course. And while they’re at it, they should Perry-proof it, too. I don’t want to have to hear how winning his first major has ruined his summer
