Start holiday shopping early: rulefourteen Invisibrush Golf Towel and Levitee Golf Glove
Last year, I decided to stop procrastinating when it came to holiday shopping. And then I promptly put off breaking my procrastination habit until this year.
But now – now, damn it – I am finally prepared to get moving on last year’s gifts. Or maybe I should just skip ahead to this year’s. Well either way, I’ve got a couple of nice stocking stuffers all lined up already.
First is the rulefourteen Invisibrush Golf Towel by rulegolf. The towel features a two-texture construction with a soft, absorbant microfiber on one side, and a course scrubber on the other. It’s sort of a towel and brush all in one. It comes in two sizes – a large “player’s” towel good for caddies ($28), and a smaller bag towel ($20) for hooking on your bag.
Another unexpected gem is the Levitee Golf Glove by Levitee ($20). The glove combines a premium cabretta leather shell with small foam pads sewn in between all the fingers. The idea is that the slightly wider finger spacing helps eliminate the “death grip” that many of us develop, especially when faced with tough shots or a deteriorating round.
When I first put the Levitee glove on, it felt rather strange, I must admit – hokey, even. But after palying most of a round with it I noticed that the ache that often grows in the ring and small fingers of my left hand was not bothering me as much as usual. Sometimes, that pain had been so bad that my hand ached for days after a round. The Levitee, to my surprise (and delight), appears to lessen it considerably. In addition, the lighter grip seems to reduce my tendency to over-rotate my hands through impact, thus lessening my tendency to hook the ball.
So, there you go. A couple of gifts already out of the way. Just don’t tell my wife about the end of my procrastinating – I’m still trying to put off cleaning the garage.

The rulefourteen Invisibrush Golf Towel dries and scrubs your clubs all in one.

The Levitee Golf Glove has small foam pads between the fingers to help reduce grip pressure.
