Antigua accessories facilitate New Year's goals
Even though I don’t have any New Year’s “resolutions” per se, I have a few golf goals. All of these center around improving my game, little by little.
One way to improve my game would be to get back into the gym. About five years ago, I dropped 30 pounds, thanks to regular gym visits. I wasn’t looking to lose weight, just to feel better, sleep better, think better, and play better. Then work and family duties arose, and the siren song of my own cooking – which I love to do and really love to eat – distracted me from regular workouts. And the weight crept back on.
So this year, it’s back to the gym. To facilitate my daily visits, I’ve got a new gym bag from Antigua, which is spacious, light, and affordable. Best of all, it smells a LOT better than my old gym bag.
A new bag might not seem like much to get excited about, but as my grandmother always told my father, and my father told me: “Enjoy the small pleasures in life, because the big ones are few and far between.”
The same goes for your golf game: Career rounds are hard to come by. Focus on those few great shots, those few long putts that drop to save bogey. The reason golf is so addictive is that it is always a work in progress. If you wait around for everything to come together at once, you’ll be waiting a long, long time.
