Golf resolutions for 2017, Part 2: Working out
Yes, I know it’s March, and it’s sort of late to make resolutions.
But hey, resolutions are not my thing to begin with. Especially not ones that I feel I shouldn’t have to make. Like working out and getting in shape.
I’ve always sort of prided myself on being in pretty good condition. But my late 40s and first couple years of 50s have taken a toll: Lots of sitting, typing, driving, and…not much physical activity.
So resolution it is: work out, lose some weight, get back in at least some semblance of good shape.
On the bright side, I have some cool new t-shirts by LEOPARDËT to wear to the gym.
Haven’t heard of LEOPARDËT? Well, I hadn’t either before February, when my attention was drawn to the company’s Kickstarter campaign. Ari Leopardet, founder of LEOPARDËT, drummed up more than her goal on the crowdsourcing site and has debuted a chic line of American-made active wear, all of which features the company’s cool leopard logo. They even have a line of golf wear.
If only I actually were a leopard. I could sleep most of every day, sprint after a springbok, gorge myself, go back to sleep, and stay in shape anyway.
[NOTE: LEOPARDËT is having its 2-year anniversary celebration right NOW. Visit them on Instagram @leopardetworld to view the deals.]
