Challenging or not I think truly classic courses should strive for aesthetics as well as complexity. Torrey Pines has a long way to go in my humble opinion. I know that a variety of restrictions are put on a course as popular and as open to view as TP but come on fellas, let's get serious and put those greens fees to work!

Rolex must be tinkering with the points system again. How do they allow Wie-Wee 14th place with no wins? Going from 236th place to 14th place without a win in 2009?!?!? 7 top 10 finishes with 1 cut out of 17 starts. And thein the majors...67th, 23rd, 11th and a DNP..That's Impressive! I guess that is why she IS the WIN-LESS WUNDER.

Have they decided on exactly what kind of format?

Because the corrupt IOC is never going to allow a field full of Americans, so I'm guessing it will be like 2 from each country. In that case, I hope it is match play.

Oh, but Kerigan MIGHT have stood a chance? I just can not see why this country sees in sending a loser. Why reward someone with a 0-57 record with a trip to Denmark.

Next, it is a shame that the IOC allows paid professionals in the competition. Olympic winners should strive to become paid professionals. What the IOC is allowing is: Paid professionals to be the playground bullies. Who do you think will win gold, silver and bronze. I bet it won't be the the #1 ranked amateur in 2016.

1. Did either of those guys read your review?

2. Haven't we had this story ABOUT TEN TIMES ALREADY? Paper Tiger, John Paul Newport? IT'S FREAKING OLD, ALRIGHT?!?!

3. I know there was a #3...hold on...seriously--he got down to a 1? Where? I can be a 1 on a local crap muni, but being a 1 on tough courses, from the tips, is a different matter. Does he discuss that? What "amateur tour" national championship is this? Does it involve quaffing frosty mugs of beer? Sounds sketchy...you are right to be dubious.
