After theft got Wilson Firestick irons,Big Berth Hawkeye driver and went on. Recently got Taylormade driver and it seems more forgiving. Still, I think the answer for most players is to use fewer clubs and use them better. I've got a book about ready to publich which describes how you can break 90 just by working on five shots - and proves it with illustrated virtual game played over decently tough course. I never had a full set of clubs until I was in my 20's ( a long time ago), and broke 80. My dad never had more than eight, and shot in the 80's. Tom
