Golf bloggers Chris Baldwin, Rebel are wimping out

Just doing a little score keeping, I realized that TravelGolf.com bloggers Chris Baldwin and the ceegar-chomping Rebel Blogger have both conveniently ignored direct challenges of late and no one’s calling them on it. No more!

Back in late April, Baldwin ripped off a cheap slam against golf instructors.

Not wanting to let him get away with kicking a hornets’ nest just for grins, I ordered him to take a lesson and write about it. Hell, one PGA Professional in NY even offered to give him the lesson free.

What’s come of all this? So far ….. nothing. I did see where Baldwin’s been busy eating grapes and being rubbed with hot balls. Figures.

Next up, our pal the Rebel Blogger. In response to the Reb ripping Santee, S.C., Tim McDonald called his bluff. Tim gave the strippers of Santee a platform - and the gals (God bless ‘em!) responded, inviting the Rebel – at their own expense – to spend a few days in Santee to “see what it’s really all about.” Think the Reb’s had the nads to accept the strippers’ challenge? Not likely. It seems he’s pulling a Baldwin on this one.

The Reb recently blasted Baldwin for comments Chris made regarding the cause of lousy travel writing. Funny, now, to see that – for all his bluster – the Reb’s cigar smoke is mostly hot air. Strange bedfellows, indeed.

Well? Guys?
