Can't wait to thump some golf balls with my Alpha V2 425cc Driver

Someone call an ambulance! The range is fixin’ to become a very dangerous place.

I just got my hands on an Alpha V2 425cc Driver to review. Sweet looking club. Haven’t had the pleasure to batter any balls with it yet, but I did just read where Alpha drivers tore up the Alpha Long Drive Classic in Des Moines. According to the company, six out of eight of the top finalists in the open division, and three out of four of the top finalists in the senior division chose Alpha as their driver of choice.

Something tells me putting one of these long fellas in my hands is going to be dangerous. Maybe I’ll have to take a lesson with Baldwin. ;-)

Have fun with it - I actually bought one of these heads directly from the manufacturer, and fitted it with an Aldila NVS shaft.
They DO seem to go a little farther than similar heads, and have a nice feel and sound to them...
I think that Alpha is missing out on a great marketing opportunity, because the blacked out face is super-tough looking, and helps you see your impact points without using tape!
They should market these as "Black Beauty" or "Black Widow"...
Let us know what you think...
