Congrats go to Suzy Whaley, for making the cut in the PGA Club Professional Championship this past weekend at Kiawah Island. The only woman in the field, Suzy became the first female to make the cut in a CPC. She finished tied for 64th. She was competing from 6,229 yards compared to the guys’ 7,355 yards.
University of Illinois men’s golf coach Mike Small won, by the way, taking home $67k. Look for him come Aug. 11-14 in the PGA Championship at Baltusrol.
