Wie can make cut vs. the guys in Japan, Tiger says

Tiger Woods says he wouldn’t be surprised to see Michelle Wie make the cut this week in the Casio World Open, an event on the Japanese men’s tour. Playing - of course - on a sponsor’s exemption, Wie arrived in Japan nearly a week early to prepare for the event (and, one has to assume, hawk a few shoes).

No word on whether Tiger and Michelle have discussed his passing on the burden of being the One Who Will Save The Golf Industry.

It would be great if Michelle could make the cut. If she plays anywhere near her best, I think she will make the cut. At her best, she'll make it comfortably.

Title ambitions are a bit unrealistic though.

After the first day, Wie is on course to make the cut.
Will she make the cut?

- if she does, we'll have a nice article form Mario.
- if she doesn't, Baldwin will be delighted with the bashing opportunity.

I'm so sad that Michelle didn't make the cut. Well, she's still young there are lots of tournaments waiting for her.
