Crassly cashing in on naked aggression of a Britney Spears insult!
So golf blogger William K. Wolfrum wrote in his blog charging that “Britney Spears … made big bucks for more or less being naked and shaking it.” And he hit Ms. Spears with a below-the-belt prostitution jab as well: “She just seemed to me to be someone trying to make money the old-fashioned way. The really old-fashioned way.”
This being a golf blog, eventually Wolfrum turned his thoughts to our game - namely accusing PGA Tour boss Tim Finchem of selling fluff over talent, ala the aforementioned B.S.
Well, thank Tiger that Rya, a fan of B.S., leapt to the defense, commenting, “Britney Spears is a talented musician….can any of you sing and dance like her, dancing like that, sweating and losing your breath while still singing and looking amazing…NO none of you can so think about it before you run your mouths about her…”
I felt better knowing that someone was challenging that Wolfrum jerk’s BS insult! Go, Rya!
But then a “Norman” has the gall to write to Rya: “Britney does, not dance and sing at the same time. She dances and mimes at the same time. She is a pop tart, and is not a musician by any means.”
My only hope is that some true fans of Brit (we call her Brit) will join me in defending her honor here. Come on, girls!

How many people of your own demographic do you meet when you attend Britney Spears concerts?
As bad as Britney is, suggesting she is a member of the oldest profession is a bit harsh. Now for Christina, that is another matter.
Possessing abilty doesn't mean you're a good person and shouldn't validate you. Hitler and Mussolini had ability, too.
you have the gall to call em as you see em, and your vision is certainly not obscured by rose-coloured glasses.
Your factual and concise observations are a welcome respite.
You are right that Britney is a slut.
She is also a dreadful role model for young girls.
She also knocks back equality because if every girl was was like her, it would mean they were just good for one thing, and that is to be ....
If girls want a role model, they should try to follow someone like Michelle Wie or Justine Henin.
Are you so completely out of topics that you have to fabricate (as you hinted at with multiple mentions of B.S.) a story about being a "B.S." fan to generate comments on your own blog?
Why do you guys keep creating new posts about the same topic instead of commenting on one another's? I guess if it's a successful comment generator for one blogger, you might as well capitalize (read: horn in on) it. Sometimes I wonder if you guys get paid by the comment. Talk about prostitutes. ;) Everyone picks on Baldwin, but he probably doesn't believe half the things he says, he just wants the attention and to create a reaction. Soon there will probably be a syndrome named for this behavior. Like Munchausen Syndrome by Blogging.
Hey, maybe I should put this on my own blog instead of comment about it here. I think it's a topic in itself. Of course, no one will read it there. :)
Norman, on this we agree 110%.
I'll tell you something of which this reminds me. There's a case in the news right now in which an incompetent Vermont judge, named Judge Cashman, just sentenced a man who habitually raped a young girl for four years to a mere sixty days in jail. In a nutshell, he implied that he doesn't really believe in punishment and was motivated by the fact that the rapist can't get the rehabilitation "he needs" in prison. But that's not why I mention this.
The mainstream media in Vermont, which is a very leftist state, are quite monolithic in their DEFENSE of him. Now, this should be a no-brainer. NO ONE should be defending this scoundrel in a black robe. Yet, even in this obvious case, many are so corrupted that the moral position eludes them completely.
Western civilization is in big trouble.
Why don't we move past her media image and look at her talent? She can sing. She can dance. She can sell out pretty much any concert she performs.
Now lets look her her personal life, or what we know about it. Her sister adores her, and says that Britney is a great person. She has tried to keep her baby out of the media, showing that she cares about him.
Just because she doesn't dress how you think a woman should does not make her a slut or a negative role model. She is expressing herself how she wants to. Leave her alone.
