Lefty site fires back at Rush Limbaugh over Michelle Wie controversy
Wednesday March 29, 2006 | 05:15:50 105 words, 2875 views
So now liberal e-newsletter Think Progress has weighed in on the Rush Limbaugh/Michelle Wie controversy. Read “McNabb Redux: Limbaugh Trashes Golf Prodigy Michelle Wie.” The topic seems to have fired up their readers; some 129 comments have been posted there as I write this! They include this gem: BadGolfer.com is a disgrace for even pubishing an interview with this righ wing maggot. I have no idea what they think he has anything to do with golf. Rush Limbaugh is easy fodder for BadGolfer.com to get easy hits. They should focus on improving your golf game, not stuffing right wing crap down our throats. Comments:

Amazing, Michelle Wie's golf career is the first controversy I've seen in a while that doesn't divide along red/blue, conservative/liberal, right/left, republican/democrat lines. There is hope in America for an end to the partisan divide.
I'm starting the Wie/Woods 2028 Presidential write-in campaign. We hope to draft them in to the new Fairways party with a plan to end the 25 year Iraq war by converting Bhagdad to a golf resort.

Baghdad has too much sand to be playable. Imagine how many rakes you'd need for that course. Watch out for land mines in your cart!

I think this answers the charge some have made that political correctness stops people from criticizing Michelle Wie.
I like the lefty site's numbering of comments. One post referred back to an earlier post by number.

Loved the lefty site! It was an awesome eye-opening experience! WOW, they are as rabid and scary as Rush himself! I think it's time the country started ignoring BOTH the far right AND the far left....maybe we can find a way that doesn't include HATE??? ;)

Todd, sand dunes make the best golf courses. The land mines will just make things more exciting, and greatly boost TV ratings. All sorts of non-golfers will tune in now. Paul W has proposed a brilliant idea.
