Nike Sumo propaganda? Pretty weak, Deep Rough

Tuesday December 26, 2006 | 12:29:31 85 words, 1365 views
Win a free golf book!

What’s with The Deep Rough copy/pasting Nike press releases as blog entries? Come on TDR, you gotta bring more than that!

At least in his recent Nike rant, Tim McDonald gives his readers a somewhat disturbing (but dead-on accurate) picture of himself “scanning the danger zone for Al-Quaeda, from the Piggly-Wiggly down the street where I buy my Skoal, to the Red Dog Saloon where I occasionally stop in for a shot.”

PS: Got a golf blog I should be reading? Let me know.

Nike Golf fields the Sumo 2 driver another brick tied to a rope. At least they designed it to look like a brick now.

On the other hand taylormade golf has taken all the fun out of golf with their R7 460 driver. The game turned boring when par fours are driver then a RAC lob wedge. Thank God there are four par threes and fives to exercise the other clubs in the bag.
