Jon Gordon at Metropolitan Golf Links: The Weblog writes that he’s striking the ball much better “because of one swing thought: balance.”

“I find if I set up to the ball with good balance, then swing thinking only about staying balanced all the way to the follow through, everything just sort of falls into line. I know, this is not a new or radical thought. But it’s working,” Gordon writes.

He then goes on to offer some links to golf instruction tips from PGA.com, PGATour.com, GolfOnline.com, and more.

Luke Swilor blogs about taking his first practice swings of the New Year (in long johns, no less). Seems Luke is hitting the ball better than he has in a couple months, but his game is definitely “untested.” Luke’s playing in the Coral Canyon Open is this weekend, a local PGA section event. Best of luck, Luke.

Lastly, our pal Larry Olmsted at USA Today offers part one of his New Year’s resolutions for golf travelers. (Click here for Tim McDonald’s golf resolutions for 2007.)

PS: Got a golf blog I should be reading? Let me know.
