Golf Channel's Peter Jacobsen okay on TV, blows as a blogger

Even Par Round turned me on to Golf Channel personality Peter Jacobsen’s golf blog.

Granted, it’s interesting that Peter Jacobsen, a two-time senior major winner, is blogging, but it’s a pretty lame blog. Seven posts in all of 2006, “archives” that are nothing but a bunch of broken links, no RSS feed!? Weak.

Come on, Peter. I mean, I was pretty happy to read that your hip surgery went well and you’ll be playing more golf in 2007 - but as a blogger, you need to get back to Q school.

And, Even Par Round, what’s with “I found something wonderful. Peter Jacobsen is a blogger!“? Why the suck-up job? Hell, your blog is 100 times more interesting than Jacobsen’s. You’re a golf blogger, man - act like one!
